Dallas Business Journal Features TXC Award Finalist Gearbox Entertainment

Gearbox, one of Texas Consilium’s Business Excellence Award Finalists for 2020-21, was featured in a Dallas Business Journal story on February 3, 2021.  DBJ, a Texas Consilium Media Partner, reported that Gearbox is getting acquired in a massive deal worth up to $1.3 billion.  Perhaps even more important, Randy Pitchford, founder of Gearbox, will continue in his current role as head of Gearbox and the core of the company’s 550 employees will continue to work in Frisco.  The alliance will provide Gearbox with resources to accelerate their Texas-based global growth even more.

Gearbox will be featured at Texas Consilium’s monthly breakfast event on February 23, 2021 with David Najjab, Director of Institutional Partnerships at Gearbox Software serving as a panelist along with Ed Curtis, CEO of YTexas and Robert Gardner as moderator.  Register for this or other upcoming TXC events HERE.

It’s another great Texas-grown entrepreneurial success story which we love to share at Texas Consilium.  This entrepreneurial success, with all of its evolution and lessons learned along the way, is one of reasons that Gearbox is one of our Texas Consilium Business Excellence Award Finalists for 2020-21.
