The Pursuit of Excellence

Growing Texas through Growing Texas Businesses
Texas Consilium is an economic development organization for the State of Texas.  Unlike most economic development organizations that focus primarily on recruiting new businesses to the community, Texas Consilium instead works with existing Texas businesses to improve their performance, growth, and prosperity — thereby also improving the prosperity of the State of Texas.

In short, Texas Consilium works to help Texas businesses get from where they are, to where they want to be, could be, or should be — ultimately achieving their true potential!

Unique Role in Economic Development for Texas
With our mission to improve the prosperity of Texas by improving the performance, growth and profitability of Texas businesses. Texas Consilium has been recognized by the Texas House of Representatives and Texas Governor Greg Abbott for our unique role in economic development for the State of Texas.

Holistic Approach
While Texas Consilium can focus on virtually any single specific business issue that a Texas company may have, our holistic perspective is always part of any project.  Texas Consilium brings together highly experienced, seasoned executives and professionals who can address virtually any business issue.  Nothing in business exists in a silo, for everything is ultimately connected as part of a system.  What appears as a symptom in one area may have a root cause in another, and finding and resolving the root cause is key to long-term success.  Collectively we have worked in thousands of businesses where we have seen what works and what doesn’t.

Industry Agnostic
While originating within TMAC and the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Manufacturing Extension Partnership program, Texas Consilium expanded out of those manufacturing-focused programs in 2015.  This separation allowed Texas Consilium to expand our improvement services to most all Texas companies of most all industries and sizes, as well as increase our responsiveness to client needs.  The separation from federal and state public funds also assures our clients that their sensitive information will not subject to Freedom of Information Act or Open Records requests because of public funding, and that all information will be secure and confidential.
